The industry gathered at BEA 2010—the premier North American publishing event—to celebrate our passion for books, and to see and learn what’s new and what’s next in publishing—from print to digital. BEA showcased more than 500 authors and hundreds of new titles on a Show floor filled with 1,500 exhibitors. This year’s “Big Ideas at BEA” Conference and Global Market Forum: Books & Publishing in the Spanish World offered insights into the latest trends in publishing. And the buzz of the book business was at an all-time high during dynamic Special Events (which included Barbra Streisand as the Opening Night Keynote!). All of this, plus all of the rights business that was conducted at the International Rights & Business Center.
It was clear, BEA remains THE PREMIER North American publishing event. It’s where you have to go to get the content, track the trends, find the newest authors and titles, make the contacts and share a passion for books.
